Piaggio has displayed a number of Moto Guzzi and Aprilia superbikes at the 2014 Auto Expo. Here we will give you some details of each one of them.
Aprilia RSV4 APRC ABS – The massively appealing Aprilia RSV4 APRC ABS is powered by a V-4-cylinder 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine which is 1000cc in displacement. This engine churns out 181 HP of power and 117 Nm of torque. The front suspension features a Sachs upside-down fork while the rear suspension comes with a braced double swingarm. Aprilia has fitted 17-inch wheels on this superbike and the maximum fuel tank capacity is 18.5-litres.
Aprilia Caponord 1200 – The Aprilia Caponord 1200 is a cruiser bike powered by a 1200cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke engine which produces 128 HP of power and 115 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The front suspension comes with a Sachs upside-down fork and the rear suspension has a Sachs hydraulic shock absorber. The tyres are 17-inch in size. The maximum fuel tank capacity is 27.7-litres.
Moto Guzzi V7 Racer – The Moto Guzzi V7 Racer is powered by a 744cc V-twin 4-stroke engine which gives out 50 HP of power and 58 Nm of torque. The front suspension is a telescopic hydraulic fork while the rear suspension has a light alloy swing arm with two adjustable shock absorbers. The tyre sizes are 18-inch and 17-inch for the front and back respectively. The maximum fuel tank capacity is 22-litres.
Moto Guzzi V7 Stone – The V7 Stone is very similar to the V7 Racer when it comes to specifications. It has the same engine with same power ratings, similar suspension layout, similar tyre sizes and the same fuel tank capacity.
