TVS XL Super sees a 10 percent decline in MoM growth

There is a positive trend in the April 2019 2-wheeler sales figures but still, there are some exceptions. We see that even after a decline of 9 percent in MoM growth of Hero Splendor, it is still the top selling 2-wheeler in April. Apart from that, Bajaj has also seen an overall decline in the sales of the Pulsar series, with Bajaj managing to sell 75,589 units of the Pulsar lineup, compared to last month’s 1,05,256 units.

However, Honda has managed to gain 588 percent with Dio sales this month. Also, Honda has seen a 423 percent rise in growth this month with the Grazia. TVS Apache is sitting on the 14th position registering 43,499 units in the month of April. We see that Hero and Honda dominate the top 4 spots with the Splendor, Activa, HF Deluxe and CB Shine respectively. However, all is not good with the 2-wheeler sales, as we see that Mahindra sold 0 units from its 2-wheeler product lineup this month.

Yamaha has sold only a meagre 3823 units of the MT-15 this month. Royal Enfield has taken the 15th spot with the Classic 350, but we see a marginal decline in sales to 35,196 units from March’s 36,428 units. The Royal Enfield 650 Twins have managed to sell 2014 units this month, leaving the company wanting for more sales. Adding 0 units in 2-wheeler sales, UM Motorcycles has not managed to sell any product from its lineup this month.
