We spotted the Ford Endeavour Sport for the first time in India in white and today we see it in an all-black avatar. MotorBeamer Nikkhil spotted the car at a dealership and you can see it alongside the regular variant in black.
There is a substantial difference between the two and it’s hard to find any chrome bits on the Sport edition, which is a dream come true for those who hate chrome.
The front profile gets a new grille design and it’s all-black. The headlamps are smoked to go along with the overall Sport theme. The bumper’s silver panel that you see in the regular model is totally finished in black. Even the engine badging on the front fender is black!
Now there is a new set of chunky 6-spoke alloys on offer in the Sport edition, the ORVMs are black as well. Similar dark treatment will be seen at the rear.
While we haven’t seen the interior yet, it is expected to have all-black dashboard and upholstery as well.
There will be no mechanical changes. It is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 170 PS and 420 Nm, mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
Launch is expected to happen in a few days, expect premium pricing over the regular variant. It will compete directly against the Toyota Fortuner TRD.
