Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has bought himself a new Bajaj V15 and the bike gets minor personalisation too, thus upping the appeal of the bike.
We have always seen celebrities using super expensive and exotic cars and bikes, haven’t we? When was the last time we witnessed a celebrity buying a mass-market vehicle? Well, Aamir Khan, who was seen riding superbikes in Dhoom 3 has just gone ahead and bought himself a brand new Bajaj V15.
The Bajaj V15 comes with metal that has been taken from the battleship INS Vikrant and hence Aamir got very interested in the bike. The INS Vikrant is India’s first aircraft carrier and it also played a significant role in the India-Pakistan war of 1971. The bike was delivered to Aamir by Rajiv Bajaj himself at the actor’s residence.
Rajiv Bajaj also got a couple of unique customisations done on the bike. The fuel tank comes with a customised decal that houses the logo of Aamir Khan’s production house. The rear seat cowl of the bike gets a 3D Chotelal sticker along with the V badge. The bike is black in colour and has red decals.
The Bajaj V15 is powered by a 150cc engine and it is a very unique offering in the commuter segment. Bajaj Auto started handing out deliveries of the bike from 23rd March 2016 and on the first day itself 10,000 customers riding away with their bikes.
