After showcasing the Zir, Hero MotoCorp has now displayed the Dare and Dash scooters at the 2014 Auto Expo. The Dare is powered by a 125cc force air-cooled 4-stroke OHC engine that produces 9 BHP of power and 9.5 Nm of torque. The Hero Dare is a scooter that is targeted at men. It comes loaded with telescopic forks, dual tone alloys, LED daytime running light, LED taillight, digital instrument console and body-painted brake calipers. The body is available in a dual-tone colour scheme and Hero has also added a mobile phone charging socket, side stand indicator, pass switch and boot light on the Dare.
Now coming to the Dash, it is powered by a 110cc force air-cooled 4-stroke OHC engine. It also features fuel lid opening with ignition key, analog digital instrument console, LED taillight, side stand indicator, Integrated Braking System, mobile charging port, service interval reminder and boot light. For safety purposes, the Hero Dash comes with an E-Coded security key.
