Auto Expo is a time when all manufacturers try to come into the limelight as the media coverage is extremely high and everybody is optimistic about the automobile market. With every Auto Expo, we see an immediate increase in car and bike demand as more and more people looking at purchasing new and innovative products. This year’s Auto Expo is touted to be the biggest ever and the motor show has grown so big that the organisers had to move to a bigger location, to manage both the number of participants and show-goers.
Hero MotoCorp unveiled 15 new models not very long time ago and the company stated it plans to showcase 12 new products at the 2014 Auto Expo. However even before the Expo, Hero is all set to daze us with two new offerings. The company has scheduled a press conference for tomorrow (29th January, 2014). The invite mail has two teasers in it, so Hero will be showcasing two new products tomorrow. Mind you, this will only be an unveil and sales won’t start anytime soon as the 15 products showcased a couple of months ago are yet to go on sale.
One product is a motorcycle (likely to be the new Hunk) while the other is a scooter (probably an electric model). The teaser images don’t reveal much but the bike looks really aggressive and is likely to be a semi-faired machine. Probably Hero is replying to Honda and Suzuki who plan to rule the 150cc segment with the CB Trigger and Gixxer respectively. The scooter does look interesting (in what can be seen) with likely hood of being extremely light for better fuel efficiency. Less than 14 hours for the Hero event, till then let’s speculate.
