The KTM Duke 390 has managed to win the hearts of bike enthusiasts and now the manufacturer has organized a weekend tour where Duke 390 customers can get together for a long ride and interact with fellow bikers who share the same passion and love for the Duke 390. KTM Mumbai is organizing a weekend ride to Tapola, Mahabaleshwar on 1st and 2nd February 2014. This would be a great chance for Dukers to get out of the hustle-bustle of the city and enjoy a nice ride on delightful roads.
The KTM Orange Tour will take place on 1st and 2nd February and the venue is Koyna Agro Tourism, Tapola, Mahabaleshwar. The ride will start from Mumbai and the distance is 275 kms one way, which means participants will cover a total distance of 550-580 kms over the weekend. KTM has kept a very reasonable cost for participation which is Rs. 1573/- per person. This amount includes food and accommodation. Participants are also allowed to bring pillions and the cost for pillions will be the same as riders.
The company has arranged for an accommodation facility at the venue which has tents with cots, pillows, mattresses, blankets and bedsheets. For couples, there will be a twin sharing basis and for singles there will be a triple sharing basis. Separate tents will be reserved for women. Four meals are included in the package – Day 1 lunch and dinner and day 2 breakfast and lunch. Participants have to start with a full tank of petrol and there will be one fueling stop during both the days.
Participants have to report at the KTM Vashi showroom on 1st February at 8.00 AM and the tour will be flagged off at 9.00 AM. The approximate arrival time at Koyna Agro Tourism will be 4.30 PM. The departure from Koyna on 2nd February will be at 9.30 AM and the arrival time at Mumbai will be 4.30 PM. There will be a number of breaks on the entire stretch for clicking photos, refueling, resting and having lunch. Interested customers can register at any of the three KTM showrooms in Lower Parel, Vashi or Kanjurmarg. There are 10 spots reserved for each showroom and the last day for registration is 28th January 2014.
