Toyota India has launched limited edition versions of their Etios twins badged as Etios Xclusive and Etios Liva Xclusive. Both the Etios sedan and hatchback get identical treatment of additional features that includes two-tone interiors, Bluetooth audio system with remote, chrome accented gearshift knob, rear parking sensors, new seat fabric and Xclusive badging on the boot lid. The special edition Etios twins are based on the mid-level G variants for both petrol and diesel powered models. The Japanese automaker has prepared 1000 examples each for the Etios Xclusive editions.
The limited edition Xclusive variants come in a way to celebrate Toyota Etios Liva’s second anniversary and Etios sedan’s one lakh units sold. The changes are very basic and there are no mechanical updates. Reminding you of the tech specs, the Etios Liva comes with a 1.2-litre petrol motor producing 80 PS of power and 104 Nm of torque. The Etios sedan comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, producing 90 PS and 132 Nm. Both the cars share the same 1.4-litre diesel engine that churns out 68 PS of power with 170 Nm of torque. All engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Toyota is offering the Xlusive editions only with white, silver and grey colour options for both Etios and Etios Liva. The Etios Xlusive petrol variant retails at Rs. 6,05,900/- while the diesel is priced at Rs. 7,13,243/-. The price difference between the regular G trim and Xlusive edition is exactly Rs. 6000/- for the Etios sedan. The Toyota Etios Liva Xclusive petrol comes at Rs. 4,95,349/-, while the diesel variant retails at Rs. 6,05,400/- (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The price difference in this case comes up to Rs. 5500/- for the Liva hatchback.
