Slowly the Dacia Duster, aka the Renault Duster is becoming a popular vehicle among tuners. The Renault Duster has become a sensation not only in India but even globally, where the company is selling a large chunk of the Romanian compact SUV. The aggressive pricing means after market specialists prefer to work on the Duster as prospective customers who can be tapped at quite large. Now German company LZParts has modified the Duster to make it look very dashing, with a slew of modifications.
LZParts has called their modified Duster package ‘Admirable’. The vehicle gets a host of exterior changes including round lights sitting on a chrome bar right above the front number plate, body cladding running throughout the lower part of the car, big deep dish 20-inch low profile wheels (option of 16-inch wheels available as well, which is the same size used by the stock car), rear spoiler, new tail lights and LZParts badging. The LZParts Duster is offered in a dual tone paint job, with the hood, roof, pillars and tail gate getting black finishing.
On the interior front, the LZParts Renault Duster gets red inserts on the dashboard along with the inclusion of a touch-screen audio system. The cost of these modifications is not known but since LZParts doesn’t have any presence in India, Duster owners can take a cue from the Admirable package and make changes to their own cars. Many have tried to modify the Renault Duster, including India’s very own DC Design. Hopefully the same enthusiasm is shown by tuners for the Duster’s arch rival, the Ford EcoSport.
