Having added 32,000 customers in the last year, Honda is on its way to enhance customer experience by adding more features and bringing out better variants of the Brio. Based on feedback from customers in the last one year, the Japanese company has now introduced refreshed variants of the Honda Brio. The upgrades are in the form of a driver seat height adjuster and a rear windshield defogger. These two features have been added to the V variants of the Brio.
The driver seat height adjuster would help the driver adjust his seat position which best matches his comfort levels. The rear windshield defogger was something which was available in cars from other brands in the same segment but was lacking in the Brio due to the rear design. However the company has taken feedback seriously. The defogger will help in better rear visibility and hence better safety.
The Honda Brio will now be available in six variants namely – EMT, EXMT, SMT, VMT, VXMT and VXAT. The Brio E is priced at Rs. 4.12 lakhs, Brio EX is priced at Rs. 4.28 lakhs, Brio S is priced at Rs. 5.06 lakhs, Brio V is priced at Rs. 5.06 lakhs, Brio VX is priced at Rs. 5.35 lakhs while the Brio VX AT is priced at Rs. 6.13 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Honda Brio is powered by a 4-cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that produces a peak power of 88 PS at 6000 RPM and a peak torque of 109 Nm at 4500 RPM. A turning radius of 4.5-metres makes the Brio one of the best small cars in terms of city manoeuvrability. In October last year, Honda brought out the automatic version of the Brio, which was well received by customers. This year, the company launched the sedan version of the Brio called the Amaze, which has already grabbed 22,000 plus bookings.
