Hyundai has launched a new special edition of the i10 small car called the iTECH i10. This edition has been launched by Hyundai to celebrate the achievement of having sold more than 12 lakh i10s to happy customers all over the world. This edition includes many new features to make the i10 more exciting, which are seen on the exterior as well as interior of the vehicle. The iTECH i10 special edition gets special iTECH stickering and body graphics on the exterior.
The Special Edition Hyundai iTECH i10 features new red coloured interiors in dual tone with red coloured panels and trims on the dashboard as well as the door pads. The seats boast special dual tone upholstery finished in beige and red. The car offers Bluetooth phone connectivity with controls for the same mounted on the steering wheel. The iTECH edition also offers a rear-view parking camera with the images displayed on the Inside Rear View Mirror (IRVM).
The Hyundai i-TECH i10 special edition is offered in two colours, Crystal White and Garnet Red along with the iTECH body graphics, which gives a sportier look to the i10. Hyundai i10 is a pretty successful model over the world as well as in India and was among the top selling cars in the recent past. But due to lack of a diesel engine the sales have dropped slowly. So this new special edition with so many new features may create an interest in the public about the i10 again and fetch more sales for the Korean company.
The Hyundai i-Tech i10 is offered in 2 variants in 2 colours. The iTech i10 Era variant is powered by a 1.1-litre engine while the i-Tech i10 Magna variant is powered by a 1.2-litre engine. The i10 Era Crystal White is priced at Rs. 4.24 lakhs, the i10 Era Garnet Red is priced at Rs. 4.28 lakhs, the i10 Magna Crystal White is priced at Rs. 4.57 lakhs and the i10 Magna Garnet Red is priced at Rs. 4.61 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Thus the price increase variant over variant is Rs. 15,000/-.
