Tell us about yourself. Who you are? What you do?
Hi Riders, I am Udaya Krishnan from Jaipur pursuing my M.B.A.
When and how did your love for bikes start?
Bullet was my father’s dream bike; he was not able to get the feel of his dream bike until I got this beast at home, this year on 26th January. Now my father and I enjoy the ride on this beast as people just watch us ride.
Which bike do you currently own?
I own Royal Enfield Electra 2005 model, 5 speed, cast iron engine.
When did you buy your bike?
I got my love this year on 26th January. I had to take a lot of pain and I am still suffering but what is that gain which is without a pain.
What made you buy this particular bike?
As such there is nothing which can make RE (Royal Enfield) lover to buy any other machine, it is for sure that RE lover would just buy and would ride a Bullet, but to be specific the masculinity, the weight due to which you have the best control and the metal and last but not the least thing which is unique- THE THUMP appeals me the most.
How many kms have you done? How many do you do every day?
When I bought my bike, Bullet had done 8,000Kms and now I have spun it to 14000 kms. I daily ride up to 20- 25kms.
What do you love the most about your bike?\
I would rather ask the riders, can anyone hate a Royal Enfield. The answer is clear there is nothing.
What you don’t like about your bike?
It’s really hard to sneak into my home or even my colony with my love my Bullet.
Will you trade your bike for any other vehicle?
Never Ever!!!!!!
What is the longest you rode your bike and where?
The longest route I have covered with my beast is from Jaipur to Ajmer and back.
What is the fastest speed you have achieved on your bike?
Hahahah…. This one is a funny question for a Royal Enfield rider; this machine will give you more pleasure if you ride it at a speed of 30-40Km/h, because this is for sure that if you are on Royal Enfield, girls will watch you but to enjoy those looks you’ll have to ride a Bullet. While going on highways I took it to 90km/h.
What mileage does your vehicle give you?
Unbelievable but it is true- 38-40 km/l.
What is the nastiest thing you have done in your vehicle?
I do that almost every day, taking my bike in front of the girl’s college with thundering thump.
What modifications have you done to your vehicle and what do you plan to do in the future?
I have tied ropes to the leg guards which is not usual in Bullets but I love it. In addition to it I have replaced the silencer and now bike has got a bigger silencer (Ganganagar Dholki name is the name of the silencer). Now I am planning to change the wheels to alloys.
Why is your bike so special to you?
I made my dad’s dream come true.
Which is your dream car?
Hummer.
Which car/bike sold in India is your current favorite?
Car would be Mahindra’s XUV500 and Bike is Royal Enfield.
