Audi India has launched the all new A4 in the Indian market today at a starting price of Rs. 27.33 lakhs (ex-showroom, Maharashtra) The new Audi A4 is based on Audi’s new 360 degree design philosophy according to which the latest A4 [B8] provided the styling guidelines for the creation of the new 2011MY A8 which itself inspired the design of the new 2012MY A6, which has now become the inspiration for the updated Audi A4. It’s a bit complicated so we rather not waste more time and talk straight about the vehicle.
Similar to the way Audi upgraded the new A5, the A4 also gets Audi’s new 6 point grille, sharper headlamps with LED daytime running lights, new sculpted front and rear bumpers and redesigned tail lamps with LED strips. In terms of overall dimensions, the car has become slightly bigger. The new A4 gets a wheelbase of 2.81 metres and the overall length varies from 4.7 to 4.72 metres depending on the variant.
