2013 Fluidic Hyundai Santa Fe Interior Pictures

Less than a week is left for the New York Auto Show and the interiors of the Fluidic Hyundai Santa Fe has already leaked. The Korean automaker’s upcoming Hyundai Santa Fe Facelift was snapped without any disguise and feel it happened when the company was making the promotional video of the SUV. The changes to the interiors are in-line with what we have seen in the new Sonata. The colours used on the dashboard include light beige and dark brown, while Hyundai has liberally used chrome as well. The instrument cluster is now a twin-pod unit which features Hyundai’s trade mark blue backlit meters.

There are all of 15 buttons on the new 3-spoke steering wheel, while the gear knob features some buttons as well and looks inspired by Audi’s gear knob. The changes to the interiors are quite significant to say the least. Gone is the large and bulky 4-spoke steering wheel and the rather dated center console. The amount of buttons point to the amount of features and technology the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe is equipped with. The overall dashboard is very pleasing indeed and Hyundai has given the interiors a fresh lease of life with these changes.

Hyundai will make no delay in bringing the Fluidic Santa Fe in India, which will be powered by a new 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 225 BHP and 500 Nm. The Korean automaker will start global sales of this model in a couple of months time, while an Indian launch can be expected by the end of 2012. Currently Hyundai is bringing in the Santa Fe via the CKD route and offers the vehicle in 3 variants – manual 2-wheel drive, manual 4-wheel drive and automatic 4-wheel drive. The Hyundai Santa Fe range starts at Rs. 22.50 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
