Mahindra will be opening the second phase of bookings for the XUV500 on the 25th of January, 2012. The bookings for the XUV will be opened for a limited period of just 10 days in 19 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Nasik, Jallandhar, Patiala, Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut, Trissur, Coimbatore, Nagpur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh / Panchkula, Ludhiana, and Hyderabad. But what happens if the bookings exceed 7200 units? Well, in that case there will be a draw which will be done through Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India, details of which will soon be available on Mahindra’s website. Application for the draw will be available from Jan 25th to Feb 3rd and the buyer has to pay Rs. 80,000/- while submitting the XUV500 draw application form. Results from the draw will be announced on Feb 15th.
