Tata Motors has launched the Divo and Starbus Ultra in India. The Divo is a luxurious long distance inter-city travel bus while the Starbus Ultra is a city commuter. The Tata Divo is priced from Rs. 66 lakhs onwards while the Tata Starbus Ultra is priced from Rs. 15 lakhs onwards (all prices ex-showroom, New Delhi). Both these buses are BSIII compliant. The Divo is powered by a Cumins engine which produces 285 BHP of power and is mated to a 6-speed overdrive gearbox. The Starbus on the other hand is powered by the tried and tested Tata 497 engine which uses a viscous fan. Both these buses are highly modern and well equipped offering high level of customisation to the buyer.
