When it comes to some real mean power and earth shattering torque we have seen the Mercedes Benz cars speaking the ‘AMG’ language but now Mercedes is not the only brand who will be speaking this language. Welcome Ducati to this new league, AMG and Ducati back in 2010 at LA Motor Show had a sponsorship agreement for the Ducati MotoGP. Both the AMG and Ducati have come up with their first co-inspired product which is Ducati’s flagship Diavel. The Diavel AMG is basically based on the Diavel Carbon and features AMG signature 5 spoke wheel styling, carbon fibre lateral radiator grille with aluminium trim, AMG styled sports exhaust system with engraved end caps and AMG styled horizontally ribbed seat upholstery.
The Diavel AMG is a limited edition and this can be made out by the numbering plaque on the fuel tank, to top the exclusivity every engines has its Desmodromic cam-timing set by hand and authenticated with the name of the engine technician engraved on the left-side engine. Being a limited edition it sports AMG badges almost everywhere and is available in a single matt black colour with carbon fibre bodywork. The Diavel AMG also sports the signature “Diamond White Bright” stripe and black contrasting wheels. The Ducati DiavelAMG Special Edition and exclusively designed leather jacket and helmet apparel will be available in early 2012, with orders opening to coincide with the first public showing at the Motor Show in Frankfurt, Germany. Tell us what do you think about this beast?
