2025 BMW 3 LWB Price

BMW launches the 2025 3 Series Long Wheelbase with updated styling & features

2025 BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase launched in India, priced at Rs. 62.60 lakhs (ex-showroom). For now, the model is only available in the petrol-powered 330Li M Sport variant, with local assembly taking place at BMW’s Chennai facility. The company has also confirmed that a diesel variant will be added to the lineup at a later stage.

Design and Exterior Updates

The 2025 version does not bring major design changes compared to the facelifted 3 Series introduced in India in 2023. It continues to be offered exclusively in the M Sport trim, giving it a sportier appearance with more aggressive design elements. Customers can choose from four exterior paint options — Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, M Carbon Black and a new shade called Arctic Race Blue.

Interior and Features

Inside the cabin, BMW has introduced subtle revisions to enhance the overall ambience. The central air-conditioning vents have been redesigned, and they now integrate ambient lighting elements for a more premium feel. Another noticeable change is the addition of a new flat-bottom steering wheel, a signature touch of the M Sport variant.

On the technology front, the infotainment system now runs BMW’s latest iDrive 8.5 operating system. This software update brings refreshed graphics, an enhanced user interface and an improved voice assistant that adapts to the driver’s preferences and habits over time.

The luxury sedan is equipped with a comprehensive list of comfort and convenience features. Highlights include keyless entry and start, a smartphone-based digital key function, three-zone climate control, powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, 6-colour ambient lighting, hands-free parking assistance and a 360-degree camera system.

Powertrain and Performance

Under the hood, the 2025 BMW 330Li is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. It produces 254 BHP and 400 Nm of peak torque, with power sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. This setup aims to balance performance and comfort, catering to both driving enthusiasts and rear-seat passengers, which is particularly important in the LWB configuration.

Competitors and Market Position

The BMW 3 Series LWB primarily competes with other luxury sedans such as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Audi A4 in India’s premium executive segment. The longer wheelbase, enhanced rear seat comfort and sporty design give it a unique position, appealing to both self-driven buyers and those who prefer being chauffeured.

With the petrol variant on sale now, BMW has indicated that a diesel-powered version will be introduced at a later date, further broadening the 3 Series LWB’s appeal to Indian buyers who still favour diesel for its efficiency and long-distance comfort.
