VinFast showcased an Electric micro-SUV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It is known as the VF3, aiming to cater to people who want urban mobility with increased usability. Its dimensions are meant to allow people to park and use it in tight spaces. In terms of its form factor, it is similar to the MG Comet but it is styled like a macho SUV. Let’s have a closer look at the VinFast VF3 to understand how it integrates into the VinFast Lineup.
Styling
The VinFast has styling that gives it a cute appearance. The front proportions are boxy and feature a wide VF logo, square headlights, and a blacked-out bumper for contrast. The car also gets rugged black wheel arches. In contrast, the ORVMs, and pillars are also black. It has just two doors to aid in getting in and out. The VF3 is 3100 mm long, 1679 mm wide and 1622 mm tall. The wheelbase is 2075 mm. However, even if the VF3 looks miniature, the wheels measure a sizeable 16 inches, which is comically huge. At the rear, the flat design continues as the VinFast logo runs along the tailgate. The tail lights are vertical as well as the black lower bumper adds to the aggressive but cute design.
Interior
The interior of the VF3 was designed to be functional and practical. The 10-inch floating infotainment system serves both as the driver display and takes care of the media and navigation duties. The dashboard is well arranged with horizontal AC vents placed above the AC controls. There is a distinct lack of armrests, and the lower centre console allows the passengers to access the rear seats. The rear seats are designed to carry children as opposed to full-sized adults. However, when the rear seats are folded the boot space increases to 285 litres, plentiful for the form factor.
Battery Performance & Range
The VinFast VF3 is powered by an 18.64 kWh battery which produces 43.5 HP and 110 NM of torque. The battery powers the rear wheels and offers a range of 215 km on a single charge. The VF3 also supports fast charging capabilities, reaching from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes.
Pricing & Future Viability
VinFast hasn’t revealed pricing as of now but the expected price is around Rs. 10 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). It would compete with the likes of MG Comet EV. Overall, the VinFast VF3 doesn’t have many competitors in the market which would make it a potential standout.
The VinFast VF3 packs a compact design, a respectable range, and a cute design which can appeal to a younger audience and families who don’t want gargantuan cars. It can prove to be a practical choice but everything depends upon the capability of VinFast to price the VF3 accurately.
