2025 Land Rover Defender V8 will be available in 90, 110 and 130 variants
Jaguar Land Rover has introduced the 2025 edition of its iconic Land Rover Defender in India, priced from Rs. 1.39 crores (ex-showroom). The updated Defender is available in three body styles—90, 110 and 130—and comes in two variants: X-Dynamic HSE and X.
Updated Features and Configurations
The most notable update for 2025 is the enhanced versatility of the Defender 130, now offered in a 7-seat configuration with captain seats in the second row. An 8-seater option is also available, catering to larger families or groups seeking more space and comfort.
Inside, the new Defender sees an upgraded equipment list, including an 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Adding to the premium appeal, the front seats now feature 14-way electric adjustability with heating, cooling and memory functions, enhancing both comfort and convenience.
Engine Options and Performance
The 2025 Defender offers a range of powertrains:
- A 5.0-litre V8 engine that delivers 414 BHP and 610 Nm of torque, now available across more trims.
- A 2.0-litre petrol engine available in the X-Dynamic HSE trim.
