Mahindra Thar Roxx 4×4 variants will be available with two interior colour options
Mahindra has introduced a new Mocha Brown interior colour option for its Thar Roxx 4×4 variants, responding to customer feedback on the SUV’s Ivory white interior, which proved to be impractical for off-road enthusiasts. This new interior colour is available at no additional cost and will be exclusive to the 4×4 variants of the Thar Roxx.
New Mocha Interior for Thar Roxx 4×4
The mocha interior addresses concerns raised by customers about the previous off-white finish, which easily collected dirt during off-road activities. This change reflects Mahindra’s focus on enhancing customer satisfaction by offering a more practical and aesthetically appealing interior, suited to the rugged nature of the Thar Roxx.
Bookings and Delivery Timeline
While Mahindra dealerships have already gathered a fair number of pre-bookings, official bookings for the Thar Roxx will open online tomorrow, 3rd October, 2024, at 11 AM. The booking amount is set at Rs. 21,000/-. According to Mahindra and dealers, deliveries for Thar Roxx models equipped with the ivory interior are expected to start in late October. However, customers opting for the new mocha interior will need to wait until January 2025 for delivery.
Thar Roxx Powertrain and 4×4 Features
The Thar Roxx’s 4×4 variants are powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, available in two configurations. The 6-speed manual transmission produces 152 HP and 330 Nm of torque, while the 6-speed automatic variant delivers 175 HP and 370 Nm torque.
For customers interested in a petrol option, the Thar Roxx petrol model is available in a 2WD configuration only, equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The manual variant produces 162 HP and 330 Nm torque, whereas the automatic variant generates 177 HP and 380 Nm of torque.
