2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift bookings open with a token amount of Rs. 25,000/-
2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift officially revealed. The popular three-row SUV gets a significant update to the model’s design and features, following the latest design direction. With the announcement, the company has also opened bookings for the vehicle, which can be secured with a payment of Rs. 25,000 either through Hyundai’s dealerships or its online platform.
Trim Options and Seating Configurations
The updated Hyundai Alcazar will be available in four trims: Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. Buyers can choose between six and seven-seat configurations across these trims. The SUV will continue to offer both petrol and diesel engine options, each paired with manual or automatic transmissions.
Design and Exterior Features
In terms of design, the facelifted Alcazar bears a resemblance to the updated Hyundai Creta, particularly in the front fascia. The SUV features a new grille, redesigned front bumper and distinctive H-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs). The vehicle’s side profile is enhanced by newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the tail-lights now feature an H-shaped pattern connected by an LED light bar, complemented by a newly styled silver-finished bumper.
One of the standout additions to the exterior options is the new Robust Emerald Matte finish, increasing the total number of available colour options to nine.
Powertrain and Engine Specifications
The Alcazar facelift retains its existing engine lineup. It will continue to offer the 160 HP, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 116 HP, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options include a standard 6-speed manual gearbox, with the petrol variant also offering a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and the diesel variant paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Technology and Features
The top-spec Signature trim is expected to receive significant upgrades, particularly in terms of technology. Hyundai is likely to include enhanced connected car features and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, offering more advanced safety and convenience features compared to the outgoing model.
Price and Availability
While Hyundai has yet to disclose the exact pricing details for the facelifted Alcazar, the new model is anticipated to command a slight premium over the current version. The current pricing for the Alcazar ranges from Rs. 16.78 lakhs to Rs. 20.64 lakhs for petrol variants and Rs. 17.78 lakhs to Rs. 21.28 lakhs for diesel variants (all prices, ex-showroom).
The official pricing will be revealed on 9th September, 2024, as the company gears up for what could be a highly anticipated launch in the competitive three-row SUV segment.
