Mahindra Thar Roxx spotted in final production guise in red colour scheme
We have been talking about the long wheelbase Mahindra Thar Roxx since years. After multiple spy shots, leaks and now official teasers, the 5-door Thar is all set to hit the dealer yard soon ahead of its official debut on the Independence Day, 15th August.
One of the final production version Thar Roxx has been spotted out on the highway, which seems to be heading towards the dealership. The specific car is under wraps but we can notice the red paint job of the exterior and the plastic wrapped doors that confirm it is fresh out of the factory and ready to hit the showrooms soon.
Mahindra will reveal all the details and features of the Thar Roxx at the 15th August event and we can also expect the pricing announcement on the same day. However, deliveries might commence later and you can expect a huge waiting period for the much awaited SUV.
It will get drastic changes compared to the 3-door Thar since Mahindra plans to distinguish the Roxx as a premium product. It will get new exterior styling details like new grille, new alloys and redesigned bumpers along with fresh new grille design and LED headlight with circular DRLs. It will come with LED tail lights as well and C-pillar mounted door handles for the rear doors.
The interior will come with a premium looking dual tone dashboard along with a new steering wheel borrowed from the XUV700. It will get a larger touchscreen setup and all digital instrument cluster. Some of the other features include electrically adjustable front seats, ventilated front seats, 9-speaker Harman-Kardon audio system, Level 2 ADAS suite, panoramic sunroof and more.
It will be offered with the same 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine and the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. Both the engines will be offered with a choice of either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
