Lamborghini brings the Urus SE to India on August 9th after its global debut in April. The SUV will be the second hybrid in Lamborghini’s lineup. The Urus SE will be Lamborghini’s most powerful SUV to date.
The Lamborghini Urus SE boasts a refreshed design with a sculpted hood, slimmer LED headlamps with matrix technology, an LED signature, and redesigned front and rear bumpers. Additionally it also gains wheel size options ranging from 21-inches to 23-inches.
The Urus SE also features an updated interior with a new centre console housing a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen display. This replaces the previous 10.1-inch unit and runs new Lamborghini software.
The new Urus SE gains a powerful powertrain featuring a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 mated to an electric motor and a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This combination delivers an impressive 789 BHP and 950 Nm of torque.
The Lamborghini Urus SE can drive up to 60 km/hr solely on its electric motor. It withholds the AWD system claiming 0-100 km/hr in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 312 km/hr.
The Lamborghini Urus SE will be priced in India at a premium over its predecessors, the Urus Performante and S. This is due to the adoption of a sophisticated hybrid powertrain in the SE variant. The Urus SE will join the ranks of other high-performance luxury SUVs in India, such as the Ferrari Purosangue, BMW XM, Audi RSQ8, Lotus Eletre, Porsche Cayenne GTS and Aston Martin DBX 707.
