Locally assembled Range Rover & Range Rover Sport price revealed for India
Land Rover has announced locally assembly of their flagship Range Rover in India along with the Range Rover Sport. Both the SUVs will be assembled at JRL’s plant in Pune. The luxury SUV maker already assembles the Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Evoque, Jaguar F-PACE and Discovery Sport in the same plant.
The locally assembled Range Rover will now be available in 3.0 L Petrol Autobiography variant that produces 393 HP and 550 Nm torque and 3.0 L Diesel HSE variant delivering 346 HP and 700 Nm torque.
The Range Rover 3.0 L Diesel HSE LWB is priced at Rs. 2.36 crores (ex-showroom) and the Range Rover 3.0 L Petrol Autobiography LWB is priced at Rs. 2.60 crores (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the Range Rover commence today (24th May).
The locally assembled Range Rover Sport will be available in 3.0 L Petrol Dynamic SE variant delivering 393 HP and 550 Nm torque and 3.0 L Diesel Dynamic SE variant delivering power of 346 HP and 700 Nm of torque.
Both the Range Rover Sport 3.0 L Petrol Dynamic SE and 3.0 L Diesel Dynamic SE will be priced at ₹1.40 crores (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the Sport will commence from 16th August, 2024.
Thanks to the local assembly, prices of the Range Rover are down by up to Rs. 56 lakhs and the RR Sport is down by Rs. 29 lakhs. This move makes India the first country outside the UK to produce Range Rovers.
