2024 Maruti Swift mileage revealed in leaked brochure
2024 Maruti Swift leaked brochure images have provided a glimpse into what to expect from the fourth generation hatchback including the new mileage. While much of the information was already circulating, the latest leaks offer additional insights into the vehicle’s engine specifications, fuel efficiency and feature enhancements.
The carmaker has recently opened bookings for the fourth generation model for a token amount of Rs. 11,000/-. Multiple teasers have been revealed ahead of its launch on 9th May.
One of the most significant revelations from the leaked brochure is the introduction of an all-new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z Series engine, poised to replace the outgoing model’s 4-cylinder K Series. While the new powerplant promises improved fuel efficiency, with a claimed figure of 25.72 km/l, it does come with a slight trade-off in power output. Generating 82 HP and 112 Nm of torque, the Z Series engine delivers slightly lower performance compared to its predecessor. However, the real-world impact of this change remains to be seen.
In terms of transmission options, Maruti Suzuki is likely to offer both AMT and manual gearbox options. On the feature front, the leaked brochure suggests a significant upgrade from the outgoing model. Top-spec variants are likely to get a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, Arkamys sound system, wireless charging, rear AC vents and Type-C USB ports. Furthermore, Maruti will be offering all variants of the new Swift with 6 airbags as standard, along with the inclusion of LED fog lights in higher trim levels.
While these leaks offer us a glimpse into what to expect, there’s still much to be revealed about the new Swift, including its variant breakdown and pricing details. The new generation Maruti Swift will continue to compete with the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and to some extent it will cannibalise with the Maruti Baleno.
