2024 Isuzu V-Cross facelift India launch soon, offers visual tweaks & more features
2024 Isuzu V-Cross facelift teased officially in India. The updated pickup truck will get some visual enhancements along with new features on offer. However, this is not the international spec new generation V-Cross, it’s the same model being sold in India with mild changes to boost the sales.
The teaser video reveals the same alloy wheel design, which might get dual tone colour treatment. The headlight cluster looks the same as before and even the fog lamp housing is the same with the chrome treatment. The front grille might get less chrome and instead get black finishing to add some drama. The fenders now get a new cladding to make it look more rugged. Even the tail light cluster looks unchanged. Isuzu might offer updated bumpers to make it look fresh.
The interior teaser reveals the same dashboard having the same layout including the old steering wheel and the analogue instrument cluster with digital MID. It gets the same old touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The rear seats of the new Isuzu V-Cross will get 3-point seatbelts for all the passengers.
It will continue to be powered by the same 1.9-litre diesel engine which produces 163 HP at 3600 RPM and 360 Nm of torque at 2000-2500 RPM, mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission option. It is currently offered in three variants – Z with 4×2 and manual transmission, Z with 4×4 and manual transmission, Z Prestige with 4×4 and automatic transmission. We believe the same variants will continue to be on offer.
Isuzu currently offers 8 colour options with the V-Cross – orange, blue, red, white, grey, silver, black and pearl white. We can expect some new colour options with this update.
Launch is expected to happen within the next few weeks. Isuzu is likely to ask for a marginal premium over the outgoing model. It will compete directly with the Toyota Hilux in India.
