2024 Skoda Octavia facelift to get mild visual tweaks and more features on offer
2024 Skoda Octavia facelift teased yet again. The updated sedan is set to make its world debut later this month. The refreshed model will come with mild cosmetic changes along with new features. We believe Skoda will introduce limited units of the facelifted car in India soon after its global launch.
Skoda recently revealed the new generation Superb and Kodiaq. Both the cars get the latest design direction. Some of the new design cues are expected to be features in the new Skoda Octavia like the new grille design and new headlights along with updated bumpers. The alloy wheels also look fresh in the teaser video.
The interior is most likely to remain the same apart from some new materials and colour scheme of the upholstery. Some features from the new Superb and Kodiaq might trickle down to the Octavia including steering column mounted gear selector, digital knobs, bigger touchscreen infotainment system, etc.
Skoda offers a range of petrol and diesel engine options in the international market with the Octavia. It is expected to continue with the same engine options with this facelift. However, the Indian market will only get the petrol engine options.
Skoda offered the latest generation Octavia in the Indian market for a brief period in petrol-only variants and discontinued it soon due to low demand. Skoda was preparing to launch the RS version of the new gen Octavia in India with limited units for sale but it is kept on hold.
