Tata Altroz Racer concept updated with new design elements and more features
Tata Altroz Racer concept was first showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo with red and black colour combination. The latest Altroz Racer concept is finished in new colour scheme and reveals more details. Along with this, Tata has also revealed official images of the Safari Dark concept and Harrier EV concept.
The new Altroz Racer concept is finished in dual tone bright orange and black colour combination. The hood and the roof gets dual white stripes to add to the sporty look. Further, it gets dark headlights, black multispoke alloy wheels and bigger roof mounted spoiler.
The interior carries the same black and orange colour combination. While the cabin is all black, it gets orange highlights on the stitching, steering wheel, AC vents, upholstery lines and even ambient light around the centre console and the footwell.
Some of the features to notice here include all-digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch infotainment system and heads-up display. The HUD will be seen for the first time in a Tata car if this makes it to production version. It might also get front seat ventilation, wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, etc.
The Tata Altroz Racer will be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine borrowed from the Nexon which produces 120 HP and 170 Nm of torque. Compared to the iTurbo version, it produces 10 HP and 30 Nm more. The Altroz Racer will compete directly with the Hyundai i20 N Line.
The Tata Safari Dark edition here is in its facelifted avatar which gets all black exterior colour, alloy wheels and gloss black elements. The interior is finished in dual tone red and dark colour combinations.
The Tata Harrier EV concept was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. It looks the same as the old concept but is finished in an interesting new dark green colour which looks inspired by the Camo edition. The specs have not been revealed officially but it is likely to have a range of up to 500 km on single charge.
