Hero Mavrick 440 teased, to share its mechanicals with Harley-Davidson X440
Hero Mavrick 440 teased yet again, the new motorcycle is all set to launch on 23rd January. In the latest teaser image released by Hero MotoCorp, we get a glimpse of the bike’s design, which bears a resemblance to Ducati Monster.
It gets a round headlamp featuring an H-shaped LED daytime running light. Features a muscular fuel tank along with a flat handlebar for an aggressive stance. We have seen the spy shots of the test mule that revealed a rectangular designed exhaust muffler and sleek tail lamp design.
The bike gets twin rear shock absorbers, telescopic front forks, disc brakes at both ends and sharp looking alloy wheels with twin-spoke pattern.
We all know it will be sharing some mechanical bits with the Harley-Davidson X440. It will share the same 440cc air- and oil-cooled engine from the X440 that is likely to produce the same 27 HP at 6000 RPM and 38 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Hero might tweak the motor to suit the character of the motorcycle.
