2024 Hyundai Tucson gets some drastic changes inside, new dashboard
2024 Hyundai Tucson facelift has been revealed for the European market. The updated SUV comes with styling tweaks on the exterior and a completely new design for the interior. It will be launched in Europe by early 2024. We can expect Hyundai to introduce the updated model by 2024-end.
The overall exterior design continues with the “Parametric Dynamics” design language. The front profile gets a redesigned grille with sharper detailing and hidden parametric jewel DRLs. The bumper gets updated with new styling and integrates a faux skid plate.
The side profile is exactly the same and there are no changes here except for the new alloy wheels, which look more fancy with the updated diamond cut design. Hyundai hasn’t revealed the rear profile yet but they have mentioned in the release that the skid plate is integrated in the bumper and is wider than before.
The most prominent changes are visible inside the new Hyundai Tucson facelift. It comes with a completely new dashboard with horizontal lines. It is equipped with a panoramic curved display with 12.3-inch digital cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment system.
There is a new 3-spoke steering wheel on offer with a round horn pad, it looks quite sporty and retro at the same time. To make the centre console look cleaner, Hyundai has repositioned the gear select lever to the steering wheel column. It is the same unit which is seen on the Ioniq 5. It frees up space in the centre for a wireless smartphone charger and two cup holders.
The AC vents have been repositioned with the updated dashboard and integrated well with the new design. The switchgear too has been updated and looks sleek. It follows the new trend of touch sensitive buttons for the HVAC controls.
Hyundai has not revealed any specifications for the engine and even the feature list is not out yet officially. We can expect a longer list of features on offer but the engine options are likely to remain unchanged.
