Volkswagen Sound Edition teased, new special edition likely to get premium audio
Volkswagen has teased yet another special edition that will be called Sound Edition. It will be available for both Virtus and Taigun. To be announced officially tomorrow (21st November).
The video teaser showcases a girl increasing the volume of the audio system and the bobble-head on the dashboard is swinging as the bass increases. We believe the new special editions will get a new premium branded audio system.
Apart from the new audio system, we can expect some mild visual additions and new accessories with this special edition. Volkswagen is frequently introducing new editions of late. The Taigun recently go a Trail Edition with rugged visual appeal. Both Virtus and Taigun have got a couple of new colours over the last few months – Deep Black Pearl and Carbon Steel Grey Matte.
The engine options will remain the same. Volkswagen is expected to offer both 1.0-litre TSI petrol and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine options. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces 113.42 HP and 178 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine churns out 147.95 HP and 250 Nm of torque. Likely to be available with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
