Honda CB350 gets retro styling to compete head on with the RE Classic 350
Honda has launched a new variant in the CB350 lineup and it’s simply called the Honda CB350. The bike is priced at Rs. 2 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the DLX variant and Rs. 2.18 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the DLX Pro variant.
Bookings are open across all Honda BigWing dealerships in the country. Deliveries of the new bike will commence soon. Honda has not given a specific timeline on the deliveries.
The new Honda CB350 comes with a retro styling. It comes with all-LED lights including the circular LED headlight, LED winkers and LED tail lights. It comes with long metal fenders, metallic covers for front forks, split seats, etc.
The bike features a digital analogue instrument cluster and is paired with Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS). It is being offered in five colour options – Precious Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Crust Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic and Matte Dune Brown.
It is powered by the same 348.36cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine producing 21 PS at 5500 RPM and 29.4 Nm torque at 3000 RPM. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox which gets assist & slipper clutch. Honda says it has got a bold low-pitched exhaust note, we will experience it soon.
Honda has equipped the motorcycle with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). It also features emergency stop signal feature that communicates sudden braking to vehicles behind by flashing hazard lamps.
The bike gets telescopic front forks and pressurised nitrogen-charged rear suspension. There is a 310 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear. It comes with dual-channel ABS as standard.
Honda is offering 10-year warranty package (3 year standard + 7 year optional) with the new Honda CB350. It will compete head on with the Royal Enfield Classic 350. What are your thoughts on the new variant? Let us know in the comments section below.
