Hero Xoom 160 and Xoom 125R production-ready models revealed at EICMA
Hero MotoCorp revealed a bunch of new products at the EICMA show in Milan, two of the most important products were the new Xoom 160 and Xoom 125R.
The Hero Xoom 160 is a maxi scooter with an adventure oriented character. The scooter comes with some rugged elements, large wind deflector, twin LED headlight cluster, 14-inch wheels with block pattern wide tyres, black cladding on the side profile, some muscular body panels and high riding position. You can easily say, this is the SUV of scooters.
It comes with keyless ignition with remote seat opening and Smart Find functionality. The scooter is powered by a 156cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine that produces 14 BHP at 8000 RPM and 13.7 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. The scooter gets i3S silent start tech. It has a kerb weight of 141 kg.
Next up is the Hero Xoom 125R, which is a sporty version of the scooter. It comes with fresh styling and new design elements like LED projector headlamp with sequential LED winkers, 14-inch wheels with machined alloy wheels, digital instrument cluster with turn by turn navigation, etc.
It is powered by a 124.6cc single cylinder, air cooled engine producing 9.4 BHP at 7500 RPM and 10.16 Nm at 6000 RPM. It has a kerb weight of 120 kg.
