Maruti Celerio Xtra Edition comes with some additional accessories to boost the visual appeal
Maruti Celerio Xtra Edition launched with additional accessories. The carmaker has not revealed the price. However, just like the Alto and S-Presso Xtra Editions, the Celerio is expected to get the additional kit for a premium pricing over the regular variant that is likely to cost around Rs. 25,000/- extra.
The accessories will include wheel arch cladding, body side moulding, door visor garnish insert, multimedia sterio, etc. You can also expect additional accessories like interior styling kit, 3D mats, boot mat, door sill guard, steering cover, number plate garnish and the likes.
The new Xtra Edition will create some interest among target audience and help Maruti boost their sales during the festive season. This will be the third model in their Xtra Edition lineup after S-Presso and Alto K10.
Of course there are no mechanical changes, it is powered by the same K10C, 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder dual VVT engine that produces 67 HP and 89 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with either a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. There is a CNG option available as well with the Celerio.
Some of the features of the Celerio include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist (AGS), reverse parking sensors, day-night IRVM, 60:40 split rear seat, power windows, electric ORVMs, SmartPlay infotainment system with 4 speakers, steering-mounted controls, tilt steering, rear defogger, rear wiper, push-button start, front fog lamps and height adjustable driver seat.
