Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 sheds camouflage, new design details revealed
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 spotted testing undisguised. The latest spy shots reveal the design details of the bike since the prototype is wearing no camouflage. It seems that the new Scrambler 650 is on its last stages of testing and the launch is about to happen soon.
The bike has been spotted multiple times in India as well but here you can have a closer look with these high quality spy shots. The front profile gets a circular headlamp that will get LED lights and is finished in chrome. Gets USD forks from the Super Meteor. The bike gets wire spoke wheels and dual purpose rubber.
Some of the elements are borrowed from the Interceptor. The handlebar gets a connecting rod which is often found in most of the scrambler bikes and that connecting rod is most likely to get a foam too for a premium appeal. It comes with a single seat setup. The saree guard looks similar to that of the Interceptor 650.
Coming to the rear profile, it comes with a new tail light with chrome elements and LED turn indicators. Another typical Scrambler element is the circular panel under the seat which is used as number board plate in racing events. The bike will come with 19-inch front wheels and 17-inch rear wheels.
It will be powered by the same 649cc parallel-twin air/oil-cooled engine that produces 47 BHP at 7150 RPM and 52 Nm of torque at 5250 RPM. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield is expected to introduce the new Scrambler 650 sometime in 2024. The Indian motorcycle maker is currently focusing on introducing the new Himalayan 452 that will come with an all-new look, engine and features on offer.
