Bajaj Auto trademarks upcoming bikes’ names
Bajaj Auto trademarks new names for their upcoming products. The Indian automaker will go on a product offensive in the near future and is planning to introduce a range of new motorcycles and new variants or a big update of the Chetak electric scooter.
They have registered trademarks like Bajaj Bomber, Zinger, Elixir, Aura, Darkstar, etc. Recently, the Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj revealed the company’s plans to introduce new products in FY24.
The new products will include six significant upgrades or entirely new Pulsar models including the biggest ever Pulsar. They are also planning to introduce new Chetak electric scooter models and a 100cc CNG motorcycle.
Considering the new nomenclatures, Bajaj Auto might introduce different body styles as well like bobber, cruiser bike, adventure motorcycle, etc. The Indian two-wheeler giant aims to increase its market share in the 125-200cc range, so expect most of the new products to have engine capacities in this ballpark.
The most unique product will be the 100cc CNG bike out of all these upcoming launches. It will be interesting to see the technology behind the bike. It is expected to be one of the cheapest bikes to run with the CNG tech.
