2023 Honda Hornet updated with mild new changes
2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 launched with a price tag of Rs. 1.39 lakhs (ex-showroom). The motorcycle has been updated ahead of the festive season and it comes with mild tweaks.
Honda has given the bike new graphics to make it look fresh and make the tank look bulky. The bike is equipped with LED headlight, tail light and LED indicators. It gets a split seat setup and key on tank placement.
Honda is offering the same colour options with the Hornet – Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
The 184.40cc, 4 stroke, single-cylinder engine has been updated to meet the OBD2 compliance. It produces 17.2 PS at 8500 RPM and 15.9 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM.
The bike is mated to a 5-speed gearbox which now features new assist and slipper clutch.
Suspension duties are handled by upside-down forks up front and monoshock at the rear. It has a 12-litre fuel tank capacity, 142 kg kerb weight and 167 mm of ground clearance.
It comes with 110 mm front and 140 mm rear tyres. Gets dual petal discs and single-channel ABS. Other features include engine-stop switch, hazard lights, side stand indicator and sealed chain.
The bike comes with a fully-digital instrument cluster that offers info like Speedometer, Odometer, Tachometer, Battery Voltmeter, Twin Trip Meters, Gear Position Indicator, Service Due Indicator and a Clock. It has 5 brightness levels.
The Japanese bike maker is offering 10-year warranty package (3-year standard + 7-year optional) on the motorcycle.
