Tata Nexon facelift interior leaked, inspired by Curvv concept
Tata Motors is expected to launch the Nexon facelift by mid-September, interior of the upcoming model has been leaked ahead of launch.
The overall interior styling has been inspired by the Tata Curvv concept showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo.
The first thing to notice is the new generation two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo. We will be seeing multiple iterations of this steering wheel in the upcoming Tata cars. It gets new controls on either side and toggle switches for the audio system, information display and cruise control.
Behind the steering wheel is an all-digital instrument cluster which will get the latest UI and offer a ton of information. There is a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest UI that is being offered with the entire range of Nexon currently.
The dashboard design looks less busy now with simple and straight lines, revised AC vents with clean look and a new centre console with minimal buttons. It now uses touch-based controls for the AC unit.
Another thing you will notice here is the gear selector lever which is now much shorter and looks quite modern, inspired by some of the latest Land Rovers.
We will get to know more details and features of the new Nexon as we get closer to the launch. It will get a 1.5-litre diesel engine along with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine which is expected to get a new DCT automatic transmission.
The new Tata Nexon will compete with the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300 and the likes.
