Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 teased officially for the first time
Royal Enfield has teased the new Himalayan 450 adventure motorcycle for the first time. The new bike is scheduled to launch on 1st November.
We have been spotting multiple prototypes of the Himalayan 450 recently. The teaser reveals a new beak up front, LED headlight, tall windscreen, fuel tank with protection, wire spoked wheels, etc.
The new adventure motorcycle will get a single pod instrument cluster. We expect RE to offer connectivity features with smartphone integration.
The new Himalayan 450 will be powered by a brand-new liquid-cooled engine, we will witness this engine for the first time in a Royal Enfield. The engine is expected to produce ample power and torque figures suiting the character of the bike.
The styling looks similar to the current Himalayan on sale but it will get more premium bits and different elements to differentiate the two. RE is expected to offer new colour options with the bike and a range of new accessories to customise the motorcycle according to the customer’s requirements.
The Indian bike maker is working on a slew of new bikes, the Himalayan 450 will be launched after the new generation RE Bullet 350 which is scheduled to go on sale on 1st September. RE will announce the pricing on the same day.
The Himalayan 450 will compete with the KTM 390 Adventure X and BMW G 310 GS.
