Royal Enfield Bobber 350 might be called Shotgun in its production form
Royal Enfield Bobber 350 spotted testing yet again. This time around the motorcycle is seen out on the road. It will be based on the Classic 350 and share the same engine.
Few days back we spotted the same prototype with the Classic 650. The test mule was partially camouflaged and was loaded with some accessories including saddle bags.
The one we spotted here has no accessories. Notice the floating Bobber seat on the bike. While it adds to the visual appeal of the motorcycle, it will be practical at the same time since it is a split seat setup for two occupants. Usually bobber styled bikes have a single floating seat to save weight.
It comes with a unique Ape Hanger handlebar, white wall tyres, spoked wheels, swingarm mounted rear fender, clear lens indicators and a separate brake light unit with chrome.
The Bobber 350 will be based on the same J-series 350cc platform. The production version is likely to be called Royal Enfield Shotgun 350. We can expect the Indian motorcycle maker to reveal this quirky bike by the end of this year or early next year. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 2 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Meanwhile, Royal Enfield has sent out launch invitations for the new generation Classic 350. It will be launched either on 30th August or 1st September. Based on the same J-Series platform the new motorcycle will get updated mechanicals. The design is expected to remain retro and there will be minor tweaks on that front to retain the iconic look. You can expect some new features on offer to lure younger buyers.
