Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the Invicto next month
Maruti Invicto is the final production name of the rebadged Toyota Innova HyCross. This nomenclature definitely sounds better than the rumoured Engage name which didn’t go well with the character of the Innova.
Maruti Suzuki trademarked this name long back. It seems like the carmaker had reserved this name for an upcoming product and used it for the rebadged Innova. Or, Maruti might be considering to use it with the rebadged Crysta but waited for a while for the new gen Innova HyCross to come.
We spotted the MPV undisguised and it reveals the changes compared to the HyCross. It will come with a new Suzuki grille which is quite different in terms of styling and new bumper. We expect very few changes inside the cabin.
The Maruti Invicto will be offered with the same 2.0-litre strong hybrid and 2.0-litre petrol engine options. It will be sold in limited numbers as reportedly only 50 units will be allocated to Maruti Suzuki every month. It will retail via their premium Nexa dealership network.
