Tata Punch new test mule spotted, expected to be the turbo version
Tata Motors has been testing quite a few test mules of the Punch, we expect this one to be the turbo variant. The Punch Turbo version is expected to launch by the end of this year.
The car has been spotted multiple times earlier. This time around, the camouflage pattern looks new and even some details like the tyre size and ground clearance seems bigger and higher respectively. We believe this is turbo and not the i-CNG version.
It cannot be the electric version because of the exhaust pipe that is visible in these pictures. We believe Tata Motors is preparing to give the upcoming Hyundai Exter a tough competition.
Tata Motors might have been saving the Turbo variant to launch later with more features and a powerful engine to give tough competition to the mini SUV from Hyundai.
The Punch Turbo might come with additional features like a bigger touchscreen infotainment, sunroof, wireless charging, etc.
It is expected to get a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing around 110 PS and 140 Nm torque.
