Maruti Suzuki’s version of Toyota Innova HyCross might look like this
Mr. R.C. Bhargava, Maruti Suzuki’s Chairman has confirmed the launch of rebadged Toyota Innova HyCross. The premium MPV is expected to be launched by July.
We have come up with a rendering to see how it might look like in Maruti’s clothes. We believe not much will be changed in terms of exteriors and interiors.
The front profile will get a new grille design inspired by the current lot of Marutis. The logo will of course be replaced. Some of the soft parts like the front and rear bumper might get redesigned.
The interior too will remain unchanged but we might witness new colour scheme on the upholstery and of course the Maruti Suzuki logo on the steering wheel.
It is yet to be seen if the same features will be offered or there will be any additions or omissions from the equipment list for Maruti.
The same engine options will be offered – petrol and strong hybrid. Of course there will be no diesel engine on offer, even Toyota doesn’t offer diesel with the new Innova HyCross.
It will be made at Toyota’s Bidadi plant in Karnataka and supplied to Maruti Suzuki. The premium MPV will be retailed via the Nexa network.
How do you like the rendering? Let us know in the comments section.
