MG Comet officially announced for the Indian market
MG Comet has been spotted testing recently quite often under heavy camouflage. It’s known as Wuling Air EV in the international market. The small EV has been officially announced for India and is expected to hit the showrooms soon with an estimated price of Rs. 10 lakhs (ex-showroom).
It is a 2-door, 4-seater vehicle. Looks quite quirky from the outside having a wheelbase of 2010 mm and a total length of 2900 mm. It is a pure city car aimed at urban mobility and will get a range of up to 300 km on full charge.
The interior gets simple design elements and has a minimalistic approach to optimise the cabin space. It is a tallboy hatch and gets very few panels and embellishments inside so it looks spacious in pictures but let’s wait and watch how it feels in person.
The dash has a dual screen setup, it comes with a twin-spoke steering wheel and has a simple centre console. It doesn’t look built to cost at all but has a unique premium touch to it. We don’t expect MG to price the Comet under Rs. 10 lakhs.
