2024 Mercedes E-Class dashboard officially revealed, looks EQE inspired
2024 Mercedes E-Class global debut is just around the corner but before that, the German carmaker has revealed the dashboard of the new generation sedan.
As we expected, it will be loaded with new tech and futuristic stuff. Mercedes will be offering the new MBUX Superscreen with the sedan to give an “immersive entertainment experience”.
Majority portion of the dashboard is all screens and it looks inspired by the all-electric Mercedes EQE sedan.
This one comes with a three screen setup. It has a floating digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, there is a HUGE touchscreen in the middle with the latest UI and finally a third screen for the front passenger.
Mercedes will be having an App Store for the new MBUX user interface where the owners can directly install third-party apps. At the time of launch, they will have apps like Angry Birds, TikTok, Zoom and Webex.
There is a new selfie and video camera integrated on the dashboard which can be used to click pictures and make videos while the car is parked.
They will introduce up to 30 streaming services as well for on-board entertainment. The front passenger display will have a visual shield so that the driver doesn’t get distracted.
Apart from this, Mercedes will be offering active ambient lighting system and a 17-speaker Burmester 4D surround sound system.
The new gen sedan will make its debut later this year in the international market. Expect it to hit the Indian showrooms by early 2024.
