Maruti Baleno gets updated features with an OTA software update
Maruti Baleno gets two new features adding to the convenience for the driver. Just like the recent Brezza update, the Baleno now also gets the OTA software update.
When you install the new software, the car will enable wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. This is a boon for those who don’t want to connect the cable every time they need to use the Google Maps or the other features from the phone.
Another interesting update is the turn-by-turn navigation system on the heads up display. With this new feature the driver doesn’t need to take his eyes off the road to see the directions. It is clearly visible on the HUD and even the multi-information display on the instrument cluster.
These features can be unlocked on the Zeta and Alpha variants of the Baleno. There are no other changes with this OTA update of the car.
Maruti is working on a new Baleno based crossover that is expected to come with the same features but will get an all-new styling to differentiate the two products. It will be revealed next month at the upcoming 2023 Auto Expo.
