After teasing for a while, Honda has launched the much-awaited CB300F streetfighter for a price tag starting from Rs. 2,25,900/- (ex-showroom) for the base DLX version. The top-end DLX Pro variant retails at Rs. 2,28,900/- (ex-showroom).
The new CB300F is available in 3 color options – Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, and Sports Red. From today, customers can book their favorite color and variant at Honda’s premium BigWing dealerships or visit www.HondaBigWing.in for more details.
Power comes from a new 293 cc oil-cooled 4-valve SOHC engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It churns out 24 HP and 25.6 Nm. Power is down by 2 HP and torque up by 3.4 Nm when compared to the Suzuki Gixxer 250.
The bike gets Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) that brings stability during slippery conditions by ensuring optimum traction and Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) for uninterrupted connectivity.
Other features include dual channel ABS, assist and slipper clutch, full LED headlamp and winkers, full-digital instrument cluster, and golden USD front forks. The bike has 276 mm front and 220 mm rear disc brakes.
The rear gets 150 section tyre and 5-step adjustable monoshock suspension. Further, the streetfighter features a toned fuel tank, a split seat, a compact muffler, and V-shaped alloys for a sporty look.
The all new Honda CB300F is priced at a premium of Rs. 44,500/- over the Suzuki Gixxer 250. It must be seen how the bike performs on the road and in the market.
