Volkswagen will launch the new 2011 Jetta in India early next month. The company has been extensively testing the car, which looks like a grown up Vento. The new Jetta was spotted by Team-BHP member, Amar Paithankar in Lavasa. It was accompanied by the Passat, Vento and Skoda Superb, Yeti. The new Jetta gets an all new design along with more interior room. Passengers can comfortably stretch on long drives with the increased space at the rear, thanks to the larger wheelbase. Initially, the new Jetta would be available with only the 2.0 liter TDi motor (140bhp of power and 320Nm of torque), with prices remaining similar to the current version. A petrol variant will follow up later with the new generation Jetta being available in both manual and auto guise.
