Maruti XL6 facelift launch will take place in the latter part of this month
Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch a new car this month and it is likely to be the XL6 facelift that has been in the works for a few months now along with the updated Ertiga.
The 6-seater car might not look very different to its pre-facelift version as Maruti is only expected to give it a new radiator grille, bumpers and alloy wheels. The lights might carry new signatures too.
On the inside, the Maruti XL6 facelift should come with minor revisions to the dashboard, new seat upholstery and new equipment including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 360-degree camera and up to 6 airbags.
Under the bonnet, Maruti’s 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine will continue to be present. But, it is likely to be more fuel efficient this time around and there will be a new 6-speed automatic gearbox replacing the 4-speed unit. The 5-speed manual will continue to be offered.
Upon launch, Maruti XL6 facelift, which is set to come in the latter part of this month, will likely cost more than the current pre-facelift model that is priced between Rs. 10.14 lakhs and Rs. 12.02 lakhs (ex-showroom).
